Adult League Play – Saturday, Jan 18

Our second Social Play event is coming up, hosted by Alliston. Join us for a fun day of play as you’ll get to play with several different people as you simply register as Partner Request. The day includes a Subway lunch and the chance to win a draw prize. Deadline to register is Tuesday, January 14.

Adult League Play-Sunday, Nov 24

Join us for our first adult League play of the season on Sunday, Nov 24 at Innisdale S.S. in Barrie. Lunch is provided and there will also be draw prizes. It’s a chance to play with many different partners as everyone enters as a Partner Request. Register by Tuesday, Nov 19.

Ontario Winter Games Tryouts

GBDBA is currently looking for athletes who are interested to represent GBDBA at the 2020 Ontario Winter Games(OWG).
The 2020 OWG will be held at Orillia February 27th to March 1st, 2020.
The next Winter Games Tryouts has been rescheduled to November 9th, 2019.
Dates: Saturday November 9th, 2019Location: Eastview Secondary School, 421 Grove Street East, Barrie, L4M 5S0
(Please the use parking lot on Nelson Street and access through door #7)
Time: 1pm – 4pm.
Fee: $25.00 each tryout (exact cash or cheque to GBDBA)

GBDBA Masters Event – Oct 26 & 27

Join us for the first Masters Event of the season at the Machi Badminton Center. Early bird registration is until Saturday, October 12. Entries will be received until Saturday, October 19. Click here for more info and registration.

Regional Umpire Training Opportunity

BON is trying to find out if there is any interest in the community for Regional Umpire Training.  If anybody has interest in pursuing officiating, we will work with Ian Lagden to schedule a course in the fall at one of the tournaments.
